Made up of 100% Merlot from the Woodward Canyon Estate vineyard within the western edge of the Walla Walla Valley. The mature, south-facing vineyards are 20+ years old and grow upon beds of sandy loam and silt, providing ideal drainage. The grapes are hand harvested and sorted. Once collected they see a 48 hour cold soak, and a fermentation that occurs in stainless steel. The wine then ages in 50% new oak for 20 months.
