This extremely low yielding, organic vineyard is planted on high terraces next to a dramatic basalt quarry. The flavors are as intense as the views from this site and the 115 clone brought flavors of blueberry, plum, baking chocolate, nutmeg and pine. It was vinified in neutral French oak. Supple with underlying power, this wine is best with duck breast and red meat off the grill.
