Made up of 100% Tinta de Toro, all fruit comes from proprietary vineyards located in Valdefinjas, and Toro, within the Toro DO. The head-trained vines are fairly young and grow upon beds of predominately sandy-clay soils with a limestone subsoil. The grapes are hand-harvested and 100% destemmed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Part of the wine is transferred to barrel for malolactic fermentation, before aging for six months in French oak.
