Vines aged 55–10 years, on slopes and abutting premier cru vineyards; 20% whole cluster. Cask sample. Mid cherry. Rich, spicy nose. Concentrated red-berry fruit (cherry, redcurrant and raspberry). This is quite generous again, with some quite chewy tannins. Seems very faithful to its roots. Good.
