The father-and-son team of Ken and Justin Laird have been growing grapes in both Napa Valley and Sonoma County since 1970 and their Cold Creek Vineyard is located in the Sonoma end of Carneros. The vineyard is filled with rocky, gravelly soils quite similar to those within Rhone which are ideal for Viognier. Though Cold Creek benefits from cooling breezes off San Pablo Bay, it also enjoys abundant sunshine, yielding a lush and exotic wine with generous tropical fruit.
