Considered Bonny Doon's 'pink wine of the earth', Vin Gris de Cigare has been a staple for the winery's portfolio. This Central Coast Rosé is composed predominantly of Southern Rhône varieties Cinsault and Grenache, with smaller percentages of Grenache Blanc and Clairette Blanche.
Winemaker Randall Grahm uses post-fermentation bâtonnage to add a wonderfully creamy texture. Each lot is picked at their peak levels of ripeness, resulting in a delicate wine with aromas of wild strawberry, peach, guava and rhubarb and very discreet scent of white pepper.
