Widely regarded as the father of Rhône varietals in California, the Bonny Doon winery was founded by Rhône-champion and California visionary Randall Grahm in 1983. Defying the market, Randal pursued a vision of producing low alcohol, earth-driven, old world-style wines that continues today.
The 2017 “White Bubble Moose” is a delicious new pétillant-style Vermentino. With the refreshing acidity that is common of this seaside varietal, and the low alcohol that has become a hallmark of the Doon wines, we conclude that this is one tasty can of moose’y-Vermentino.
