The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from proprietary vineyards planted in the Valley of Valdizarbe, within the Navarra DO. The vines were planted in 1992 hillside upon soils composed of red and gray marl. Upon harvest, the grapes are lightly crushed and macerated for five to seven days before alcoholic fermentation. Primary fermentation occurs in stainless steel for a total maceration for 25 days. The wine is transferred to barrel for malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for 13 months in new to slightly used French oak barrels.
