"Turley's 2014 Zinfandel Pesenti Vineyard is wonderfully fleshy throughout, with plenty of dark red and bluish fruit. Floral and savory notes add depth in an open-knit, expressive Paso Robles Zinfandel to drink for a decade or so after release. -AG"
"The 2014 Zinfandel Pesenti Vineyard is another wine that has turned out nicely. Medium in body, with brisk acidity and a supporting spine of tannin, the Pesenti speaks to balance above all else. Bright red cherry, mint, white pepper and chalk give the Pesenti much of its lifted, precise personality." –Dec-16
This certified organic estate-owned vineyard was planted in the 1920’s on primarily limestone soil. Though the vines are head-trained and dry-farmed, the soil plays the most important role in distinguishing this vineyard on the west side of Paso Robles. The wines have a brightness, with chalk and floral aromas unique to the site, and to Zinfandel in general.
