"The outstanding 2013 Syrah Ruckus has lots of floral characteristics as well as classic Red Mountain minerality, cassis and black raspberry fruit. Full-bodied, rich and textured, it should drink beautifully for 5-7 years. Note that the blend here is 92% Syrah and 8% Viognier (no doubt why itâÄôs so floral) and it was aged in 33% new French oak." –Jun-16

Chris likes to compare his 'Ruckus' with wines produced in Côte Rôtie or Hermitage. "Possessed of a dense, saturated, inkbottle hue, aromas of blackberries, crème de cassis, smokey game, graphite and Georgia asphalt on a summer day roar from the glass", he describes.
