Sparkman Cellars, 2015 Sparkman Red Blend 'Wilderness'

"A keenly priced red blend that's bottled under screwcap, the 2015 Wilderness exhibits a sweet bouquet of red-black fruits, cigar tobacco, pencil lead and tapenade. Medium-bodied, rich and complex, its fine-grained tannins frame a succulent core of sweet fruit that's complemented by plenty of savory nuance. It's more than impressive for the price. The blend is 62% Syrah, 14% Tempranillo, 11% Grenache, 7% Petite Sirah, 5% Souzao and 1% Touriga Nacional."
