"Snowden's 2016 Sauvignon Blanc Sunninghill is terrific. Freshly cut flowers, lemon oil and mint give the wine lovely aromatic nuance, but it is the wine's energy that is most impressive. This is the first vintage in which the grapes were crushed by foot."
–March 2018, Antonio Galloni

2016 Snowden Sauvignon Blanc Sunninghill Vineyard
Snowden Vineyards

100% Sauvignon Blanc

FERMENTATION: The wine is whole-cluster pressed, barrel fermented in stainless steel and used oak barrels, with no malolactic fermentation.

AGING: The wines are also aged on the lees, or as the winemakers like to say, "on the stuff." All Snowden's wines are made naturaly, without adding any yeast nor nutrients.

FUN FACT: “Sunninghill” is a name Virginia Snowden originally proposed for the ranch when she and Wayne arrived in 1955, although it never became official.
