Sean Minor Wines, 2013 Sean Minor Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

"This is an impressive wine at the price and production level. Well made and light in color, it has streaks of cool-climate sandalwood, floral spice and soft blueberry and cherry marking a medium-bodied palate. -V.B."

Sean Minor Wines

Sean Minor's Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a blend of Pommard and Dijon clones from carefully selected vineyards within the region. All grapes are hand-picked at night and early morning to keep the fruit at optimal temperatures. The fruit is then de-stemmed into open-top fermenters and cold-soaked for 3 days prior to initiating fermentation. Once fermentation begins, each tank is punched down two to three times per day. The wine is then racked to barrels for malolactic fermentation, following which, it is aged 10 months in 100% French oak (20% new).

pH: 3.58
