"The 2012 Chianti Rufina Riserva Bucerchiale shows a bit more ripeness and succulence compared to the 2013 edition. In fact, this vintage saw a hotter and drier summer growing season. The Riserva is softly layered and thick with ripe cherry, blackberry, mocha and evident spice. I would recommend this wine for more immediate consumption and suggest drinking it within the next five years." –Oct-16
"Sweet red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, mint and spice are some of the many notes that give the 2012 Chianti Rùfina Vigneto Bucerchiale its refined, perfumed personality. One of the more elegant recent editions of the Bucerchiale, the 2012 is all about grace. This is an especially bright, lithe Riserva from Selvapiana. All the elements fall in place effortlessly."
