Fruit is co-fermented and made up of 43% Alegria Vineyard, 34% Cole Creek Vineyard, 13% Westwood Vineyard and 10% Rodgers Creek Vineyard.
Fermentation occurs in tank with 75% destemmed fruit and 25% whole cluster Syrah. Both native-yeast and malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine rests sur lies for 12 months in French oak barrels from FranÃ§ois FrÃ¨res, Demptos and Taransaud Beaune. (41% new). (1400 cs)
2014 was another classic vintage, if early. A mild winter and spring caused an early bud break
followed by consistent temperatures throughout the summer, promoting even ripening. Fruit had
ample hang time which in turn yielded intense flavors and a rich texture.
