"Earthy, juicy and leathery, this wine was made from three clones of Pinot Noir. Each was fermented separately with a percentage of whole cluster, then blended together for this age-worthy concoction thatÄôs complex and compelling. 2013 Reuling Vineyard Pinot Noir
Reuling Vineyard

Planted in 2000, Reuling Vineyard is located on the family's home property in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Comprised of 12.2 acres of Pinot Noir, three clones comprise the blend – Calera, and two different “suitcase” clones from the Vosne-Romanée region of Burgundy.

Reuling Clone ‘L’ is 60% whole-cluster, Calera clone is 30% whole-cluster and Reuling Clone ‘R’ is 30% whole-cluster. All 3 clones are fermented in separate tanks with 100% native or indigenous yeasts, no cold soak for a 16 day fermentation. The wine is barrel-Aged for 10 months in oak (33% new, 66% used).
