"A rich, smoky version, whose oyster shell and lemon flavors are shaded by accents of butter and baking spices. Stays focused and taut on the long, mineral-laced aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2027. 200 cases made.  –BS"

2014 Bellene Puligny Montrachet Vieilles Vignes
Maison Roche de Bellene

100% Chardonnay

Fruit comes from old-vine parcels in a village renowned for the elegance and floral precision of its white wines. Vines average 42-62 years old and sit at 280 m with east/southeast exposures in clay, limestone soil.

The wine is produced with natural yeast fermentation (the standard practice at Roche de Bellene) and undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation. It is aged in French oak (20% new). (200 cs)
