"This Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre rosé is a stunning marriage of flavors and textures. Salmon in color, it invites with apricot, peach and Meyer lemon fruit, zesty acidity underlying its flavor, complexity and length. —V.B."

2016 Quivira Rosé
Quivira Vineyards

This wine is one of the few New World Rosés intentionally made using traditional Southern French varieties all grown on the estate. The terroir and ideal climate of Quivira’s Wine Creek Ranch overlap with the Southern Rhône Valley and Provence providing the perfect location to nurture these varieties that are universally considered to make the finest Rosé.

Grenache’s juicy flavors provide the base, but the blend always includes Mourvèdre, Syrah and Counoise. The salmon hue of the wine is inspired by the Rosés of Provençal. This wine is intentionally farmed, harvested as well as fermented and aged to craft a Rosé of the highest caliber.
