"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition contains 4% Cabernet Franc. It had a three day cold soak before fermenting in stainless steel and a post-fermentative maceration of seven days. The aging was in first and second use French oak barrels where malolactic also took place. Compared with the 2014, there is a little bit more ripeness, and feels more balsamic with abundant aromas of hay and ripe raspberries. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, polished tannins and very good acidity. 39,000 bottles produced." –Dec-15
"An elegant style, featuring a lively mix of hot stone and cedar to the dried berry and wild cherry flavors. Savory midpalate, with creamy notes. Details of green herbs and milk chocolate emerge on the plush finish. Drink now through 2019. 4,000 cases made."
The Liguai estate, exclusive source of Pérez Cruz wines and home to the winery, is located
in the Maipo Valley’s “Maipo-Andes” subregion, nestled against the mountain foothills
between 1450 and 1700 feet elevation.
The Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition comes from a selection of blocks that are carefully managed with lower yields for increased intensity.
