Wine Spectator Poliziano, 2011 Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, DOCG
"A bit shy on the nose, with ample cherry, raspberry, black pepper and earth flavors. This builds to the long finish, where a spice accent emerges. Shows fine balance but needs a little time." –Aug 2014
Vinous Media Poliziano, 2011 Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, DOCG
"Dark red cherries, smoke, plums and exotic spices inform Poliziano's 2011 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. A supple, engaging wine, the 2011 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. Hints of smoke, licorice and tobacco add darkness on the ripe, racy finish. The flavors are a bit roasted - in the style of the year - but the wine's balance is solid, all things considered."
