James Suckling Pulenta Estate, 2012 Pulenta Gran Corte
"Great aromas of blackberries, wet earth, minerals and spices. Full body, with ultra-fine tannins and a fruity finish. Reserved and super polished. A refined and gorgeous wine. A blend of the best wines from this estate. Malbec, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot and tannat." –July 2014
Vinous Pulenta Estate, 2012 Pulenta Gran Corte
"Bright ruby-red. Brooding black cherry, tobacco and spice aromas are invigorated by a floral element and accented by a peppery quality that carries through onto the palate. Broad but juicy and firm, with well-integrated acidity and an herbal note leavening the sweetness of its redcurrant and plum flavors. The Cabernet element shows clearly today. Finishes with dusty tannins and lingering spiciness."
