Wine Spectator
Viña Cobos, 2014 Bramare Malbec Rebon Vineyard

"Exuberant and well-sculpted flavors of raspberry, red plum and currant are supported by suave tannins. Offers hints of white pepper on the richly spiced finish, with luscious dark chocolate accents. Drink now through 2023. 775 cases made."
Viña Cobos, 2014 Bramare Malbec Rebon Vineyard

"(15.2% alcohol): Bright, dark ruby. Lively scents of blackberry, cassis, licorice and minerals, lifted by a pungent violet topnote; far fresher than the 2013 version of this bottling. A blueberry and blackberry fruit bomb on the palate, with a complicating note of violet. Highly concentrated, primary and pure, with brisk acidity giving sharp focus to the middle palate. But this firmly built Malbec has no shortage of sweetness. The tannins are serious but noble. Finishes firmly long and perfumed, even a bit medicinal. This wine needs aging and should evolve gracefully."
