LAVINEA, 2015 LAVINEA Pinot Noir Lazy River

"Deep bright-hued red. Expansive, mineral-tinged cherry and raspberry liqueur scents, along with hints of candied flowers and Asian spices that build in the background. Silky and broad on entry and then more taut in the midpalate, offering appealingly sweet red fruit, spicecake and rose pastille flavors that show excellent clarity and lift. Smooth tannins frame the finish, which hangs on with strong, floral-driven tenacity."

"Trim and structured, with black raspberry, stony mineral and herb accents that persist toward still-firm tannins. Best after 2018. 237 cases made."
