Equis, 2016 Equis 'Equinoxe' Crozes-Hermitage Rouge

"Fresh and forward, with silky structure that lets ebullient plum and black cherry fruit flavors burst forth. Light violet and white pepper notes course through the finish, while the fruit wins out easily. Drink now through 2020. 2,000 cases made."

"There's a gently reductive edge here. An array of cassis and red plum fruits lead into a smooth, ripe and approachably soft palate. Fruit is the focus. Drink now. Screw cap."

"Bottled under screw cap, the 2016 Crozes-Hermitage Equinoxe is a juicy, forward, delicious Syrah that offers lots of darker berry fruits, pepper, and assorted herbs. With medium-bodied richness, vibrant acidity and a clean finish, it's a no-brainer Syrah to buy by the case for drinking over the coming 4-5 years."
