Liquid Farm, 2015 Liquid Farm White Hill Chardonnay

"I loved the 2015 Chardonnay White Hill, and while it's made in a racy, citrus, lean style, it has solid mid-palate concentration and texture. Spice, brioche and hints of buttered citrus developed with time in the glass, and like most well-made 2015s, it's going to rewards patience. Based out of Santa Ynez, Liquid Farm Winery is a collaboration between Jeff Nelson, Nikki Pallesen and James Sparks. They make a bevy of classically styled, age-worthy Chardonnays, a Bandol-styled rosé, and two Pinot Noirs."

"The 2015 Chardonnay White Hill is refined, elegant and lifted, with plenty of bright citrus, white pepper and floral overtones. This is in a decidedly delicate, restrained style for Liquid Farm."

Liquid Farm, 2015 Liquid Farm White Hill Chardonnay

"Opening with restrained apple, white peach and lemongrass notes with a waft of hay, the 2015 Chardonnay White Hill has plenty of citrus and mineral appeal in the mouth, with a racy acid line and long, refreshing finish."

Liquid Farm

100% Chardonnay

Named in honor of its Chablis-like characteristics (and Chablis' chalky white soils) and unique salinity from the ancient terroir of Sta. Rita Hills, the 'White Hill' is the leanest and most racy of Liquid Farm's Chardonnay bottlings. 90% of the wine ferments in neutral oak barrel and 10% in stainless steel followed by 11 months of aging. As with all of Liquid Farm's wines, it is made with native yeast fermentation and minimal intervention.
