Jeb Dunnuck
Failla, 2016 Failla Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard

"Reminding me of a wine from the Côte de Nuits (Gevrey-Chambertin?), the 2016 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard has a complex, darker, smoky personality. Red and black cherries, damp earth, hints of stems, and forest floor all flow to a medium-bodied, balanced, straight up classic Pinot Noir. Give bottles a year or two and enjoy over the following decade."
