Vinous Domaine de Beaurenard, 2012 Beaurenard Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge AC
"Spice-and mineral-accented aromas of fresh red berries and candied flowers, with a hint of smokiness coming up slowly. Silky and sweet in the mouth, offering vibrant raspberry and cherry flavors and a touch of spicecake. Smooths out nicely on the finish, which features gentle tannins and an echo of floral pastilles."
Wine Enthusiast Domaine de Beaurenard, 2012 Beaurenard Chateauneuf-du-Pape Rouge AC
"This Demeter-certified biodynamic wine is made in an immediately enjoyable, drink-now style. Brandied black cherries and sun-baked earth mark the nose, while the palate is full, creamy and plush. It's warm, ripe and welcoming from start to finish. -Joe Czerwinski" –Nov 2015

Domaine de Beaurenard covers 32 ha of organically and biodynamically (certified Ecocert and Demeter) farmed land in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyard produces extremely low yields of 25 hl/ha.
Hand-picked and hand-sorted grapes are destemmed, partially crushed and co-fermented for 15 to 31 days with periodic punch downs. The wine is transferred to 30 hl oak foudres and 80 hl truncated-cone-shaped vats for 9 to 18 months in barrel (5% new). (6500 cs)
