90-92
"It would be all but impossible to mistake this for anything other than a wine from Chablis as the amount of Chablis elements is remarkable in the form of smoky mineral reduction, green fruit, iodine and algae nuances. There is fine concentration and ample minerality to the medium-bodied flavors that possess that lovely sense of tension on the powerful, focused and lingering finish. What this doesn't have is much in the way of refinement but if you love classic Chablis character, this would make for a good choice."

Vau de Vey is located in the valley situated behind the Côte de Léchet.

Facing East, its slopes are very steep, some of which can only be worked by hand. This appellation is less well-known than the others, but gives wines of excellent quality : delicate, rich, rather mineral and dry.

100% Chardonnay
