"BEST BUY - Selvapiana, once a summer residence for Florentine bishops, has been in the Giuntini family for five generations. It includes 111 acres of vines situated at about 1,300 feet above sea level, the cooler temperatures at this altitude allowing the grapes a longer ripening period and higher acidity than other Chianti subzones. Despite the wine's delicate ruby color, this 2012 offers concentrated, tangy red fruit flavors tinged with tarragon and minerals. Spicy and warming, it's a good match for pasta Bolognese."
