"The nose offers a greenhouse-like floral and leafy combination by now familiar from the Weil 2014 collection. Here, things pull more toward the shrubby and green herbal side, and the palate, alongside ripe Bartlett pear, features overt chalkiness and a bright streak of fresh lime, making for a slightly austere overall impression. Satisfying juiciness is retained in a sustained finish to which herbal, pear pip and mineral accents lend invigoration if also a certain severity. But give this a little time and it will probably stand tall alongside the corresponding Klosterberg and Gräfenberg bottlings."
