WINE REVIEW
Vinous
Viña Cobos
92
"Bright ruby. Even riper on the nose than the Uco Valley example, showing more bitter chocolate and spicecake than black raspberry in the early going. Very dense but with a suaver mouthfeel than the Uco Valley Malbec: less glyceral and more refined. More classic youthful Malbec flavors of blackberry, licorice, menthol and herbs. Longer on the finish too, conveying less-exaggerated ripeness even if the label states the same 14.7% alcohol. The spicecake note repeats on the very long finish of this powerful wine."
