Viña Cobos

"The word "corte" is used to say blend in Argentina, so the 2013 Cocodrilo Corte is obviously a blend. This blend can change with the vintage and in this second year of the label it's mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 10% each Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. It has a smoky, balsamic nose with the herbal aromas of the Bordeaux grapes, notes of cigar ash and also ripe berries with some air-dried meat. The medium to full-bodied palate is quite compact and has very polished tannins. This wine is barrel-aged for 15 months with 20% new American oak barrels. 23,580 bottles produced."
