100% Viura. Organically grown vines planted in 1973. Tended in clay and limestone soil at 630 m (2,067 ft) elevation.
After harvest, the skins macerate with the un-fermented juice for five hours at 45F. This cold soak enhances the wine aromas and flavor. Once fermentation has taken place, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 2 months before it is "bottled".
