As one of the sought after limited releases of Sean Minor Winery, Sangiacomo Roberts Road takes their Pinot Noir to another level. The vines are located on a northern edge of the Petaluma Gap, just at the base of the Sonoma Mountain. Proximity such as this provides fog well until midday, which helps to promote a longer, more even growing season. The soils are an ideal mixture of alluvial clay and rocks, providing drainage and slight vine stress.
On the palate, the wine is filled with ripe red fruits such as strawberry and cranberry, black cherries, a hint of vanilla and freshly picked mushrooms.
