Mostly Syrah, a touch of Viognier.
VINEYARDS Fruit from select vineyards throughout the Sonoma Coast: Cole Creek Vineyard, Rodgers Creek Vineyard, Alegria Vineyard and Parliament Hills. Grapes harvested at an average 24.3 brix. The Syrah grown at Cole Creek Vineyard and Rodgers Creek Vineyard are both co-planted with between 6-8% Viognier.
SOIL Combination from various soil types on each vineyard including, gravelly clay loam, volcanic, alluvial, and Diablo clay.
VINIFICATION AND AGING Syrah and Viognier are co-fermented in tank with 75% destemmed fruit, 25% whole Syrah clusters. Wine goes through both native yeast and malolactic fermentations. Aged for 12 sur lies in 62% new French oak. Unfiltered.
