VINEYARD Situated 300-450 meters above seal level. Fruit is all hand harvested.
SOIL Soft clay, slightly skeletal.
VINIFICATION AND AGING Maceration and alcoholic fermentation occur for 18-22 days. Fermentation carried out in stainless steel vats. Wine is aged for 14-16 months in a combination of wood. Two-thirds in french oak barriques and tonneaux (20% new), and one-third in traditional casks.
