VINEYARD Fruit comes from Richard Dinner Vineyard located in Sonoma Mountain. Vineyard has 2-15% slopes, and a combination of north, northeastern and eastern exposures. Vines were planted in both 1994 and 2012.
SOIL Spreckles loam, gullied land (exposed coastal sandstone)
VINIFICATION AND AGING Whole cluster pressing followed by 8 months of natural alcoholic fermentation in barrel. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged sur lies with biweekly bâtonnage. Aged for 15 months in 55% new French oak.
