The countdown is on! The Wine Spectator is slowly revealing its top 10 picks for best wines of the year and, so far, we've learned that the 2016 Aubert Larry Hyde & Sons Chardonnay is #6 on the list.
"Voluptuous and creamy, with densely packed flavors of apple pastry, pear tart and peach and hints of mango that are long and rich. The plush, complex finish is filled with notes of spice and dried herbs", says critic Kim Marcus about the wine. The Larry Hyde & Sons vineyard is one of the top soils in the Carneros appellation.
